HISTORY
Since 2005, Broadway or Bust Performing Arts has been a part of the Sea to Sky community, creating opportunities for young people to learn, perform, and grow through the performing arts.
Locally developed and deeply rooted in Squamish, BOB has grown into a vibrant performing arts community that has welcomed generations of young performers. Over more than 20 years, generations of students have taken part in BOB classes, productions, workshops, and summer programs, building skills, confidence, creativity, resilience, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
Today, Broadway or Bust continues to provide high-quality performing arts education and meaningful performance opportunities for young people throughout the Sea to Sky corridor.
PURPOSE
Broadway or Bust exists to make the performing arts a meaningful part of young people’s lives. Through musical theatre classes, workshops, productions, and intensive training, students develop skills in singing, dancing, and acting while also building confidence, creativity, resilience, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our programs give students the opportunity to learn the craft of performance while experiencing the unique joy of creating something together. Whether they are stepping onto a stage for the first time or working toward more advanced performance goals, students are encouraged to challenge themselves, find their voice, and discover what they are capable of.
